MISSION

The Department of Audiology is committed to training audiologists at the highest level by providing students and the public with knowledge, clinical services, and research opportunities of the highest standards, ensuring the most accurate management of hearing- and balance-related problems. By instilling the principles of Audiological Sciences, the department aims to develop students’ professional judgment and problem-solving skills and to educate audiologists who excel both in healthcare delivery and academic research. With a universal perspective, the mission is to educate audiologists who respect human rights, are internationally equipped with professional knowledge and skills, and who can protect and improve individual and public health in line with professional standards by prioritizing ethical values and applying evidence-based methods.

VISION

The Department of Audiology aims to be an institution that adopts the principle of public education and awareness, demonstrates national and international leadership in evidence-based clinical education, utilizes knowledge, contributes to science, and works collaboratively through scientific entrepreneurship and interdisciplinary approaches with contemporary and independent practice competence. At both undergraduate and graduate levels, it aspires to be a productive, modern, and autonomous institution that provides education in line with international standards, opens new perspectives in healthcare through its research and projects, contributes to scientific knowledge, and holds national and international leadership in evidence-based clinical education.
