Qualification Requirements and Regulations

As stipulated in the Ondokuz Mayıs University Education, Instruction, and Examination Regulations, students must successfully complete all course units, including practical components, by obtaining a passing grade.

Program Profile

The program aims to educate audiologists who are trained with contemporary educational principles; have well-developed research and problem-solving skills; possess cultural awareness and strong communication skills; are competent in current practices in the field of audiology; can assume responsibility both independently and as members of a healthcare team; are capable of planning; can access new knowledge in audiology through lifelong learning; adhere to professional ethical rules; and are respectful, sensitive, and forward-looking.

Employment Profiles of Graduates

Graduates can work in audiology clinics of public and private hospitals, special education and rehabilitation centers, and hearing aid sales and fitting centers.

Access to Higher Degree Programs

Candidates who successfully complete their undergraduate education may apply to master’s programs in their own or related fields, provided that they obtain a valid score from the ALES exam and demonstrate sufficient proficiency in English.

Examinations, Measurement, and Evaluation

Assessment and grading criteria are specified in each course information package. Grades are evaluated according to a relative grading system, in accordance with the Ondokuz Mayıs University Education, Instruction, and Examination Regulations.

Graduation Requirements

To graduate from the undergraduate program, students must successfully complete a total of 240 ECTS credits included in the curriculum and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0. They must also fulfill all graduation criteria.
